95% of Voters in favour of strike action at Edinburgh's Telford College

In the first Poll conducted by this site 95% of those who voted were in favour of the strike action taken by members of the EIS-FELA Branch at Edinburgh's Telford College.

The Branch Committee would like to thank all those who took part in the poll and would like to encourage participation in our next poll which will appear later today.

The question remains however...what is happening to the students? What is happening with their education? And what is happening to the money they have paid which is quite obviously not being put to good use.

This 3rd party agency called Protocol National which aims to steal lecturers pay and conditions is I believe based in Nottingham. Given the enthusiasm with which the Principal and his able deputy have welcomed them into the College then it appears that what we have is a latter day Prince John and Sherrif of Nottingham.

Robin Hood where are you?

I have recieved a reply from an email I sent to malcolm Chisholm. He was at the picket line today and has asked for the issue to be raised at First Minister's questions tomorrow. Well done to all who contacted him, lets keep the pressure up!
